Sedan is a passenger car with two rows of seats and adequate passenger space in the rear compartment for adult passengers. A Sedan can accomodate up to 4 passengers and 4-5 standard pieces of luggage

Usually equipped with four-wheel drive for on- or off-road ability, and with some pretension or ability to be used as an off-road vehicle, some SUVs include the towing capacity of a pickup truck with the passenger-carrying space of a minivan or large sedan. A SUV type taxi fleet accommodates up to seven passengers with plenty of space for luggage.  SUVs are ideal for families traveling with skis or golf clubs.

The chassis of a limousine may have been extended by the manufacturer or by an independent coachbuilder. These are referred to as "stretch" limousines and are traditionally black or white in color.
